The breakfast was delicious, although I would have loved it even more if they served ground coffee. The mattress in my room was without a doubt the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I also adored the big cat and the adorable doggies that were roaming around. The garden here is truly something special - so beautifully maintained and picturesque. And the stoep. oh, how I enjoyed sitting out there, relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Our host, Mariette, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was truly memorable. The rooms exceeded all my expectations, and the garden and pool area were absolutely immaculate. One of the highlights for me was sitting on the veranda in the evening, listening to the delightful sounds of the birds. It was a priceless experience. And to top it all off, I received salt and pepper shakers as a souvenir to remember this amazing place.
Highly recommend this hotel!

We chose this place for our Christmas vacation after seeing the pictures online. The location was great! It was close to the beaches and had great views of the city. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They offered us hot cocoa and cookies upon arrival. We also received a complimentary breakfast every morning. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the complimentary toiletries.
Our Christmas at this hotel was not exactly what we expected. The room was dusty and there were cobwebs in the corners. The bedsheets smelled weird and there were small black hairs on them. We tried to use the complimentary Wi-Fi but it was painfully slow. We had to use our own data just to watch Christmas movies and play games on our phones. Ultimately, it was not the festive and relaxing Christmas vacation we had hoped for.

The hotel's location was convenient, with a great view of the city skyline from the room. the Christmas decorations in the lobby were a nice touch, and the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. the bed was comfortable and made for a cozy night's sleep.
The hotel had some issues that dampened our Christmas experience. the room lacked basic amenities like extra toilet paper and coffee/tea supplies.
